Today I started reading my first words in japanese. I think I finally caught on. A...I...u..e..o is what Ive been studying thus far. I think I'll study a row every so often.
When starting japanese I would start with the alphabet. It will run smoothly when you start ready to translate into english.
So far on studying phrases Ive only been able to maintain those that Ive learned from anime. But those are good enough to get you into the language.
There are so many characters to learn so I wouldnt learn them all at once. I thinking about learn sentence s and phrases as I go along. As for me I'll be working slowly to get it all right when it comes down to it.
